Your Menu is due on April 30th. You must turn the menu in to be able to participate in the class Restaurant. Here is a PowerPoint explanation of the assignment:

Please remember your Portfolio is due on April 30. Everything should be complete with the exception of page 26 and 27. We will complete these as a class. You need the Portfolio to study for your final exam on May 10th.
Your Bean Home Cooking Assignment is due on May 1st. You must rehydrate the beans, cook the beans, and use them in a recipe. You must bring a copy of the recipe you used, and a brief explanation of how you rehydrated the beans and cooked them. There are many resources you can use (recipe books, Internet, etc.) to help you understand how to cook the beans.
Please remember your completed Foods Portfolio is due on April 30th. Everything should be completed, with the exception of page 7 & 8. We will completed those pages in class on April 30th. You need this portfolio to study for the final exam. The final exam in on May 10th.
Complete a profile, login, and add the meals you ate for 1 entire day. When you are done, there will be a bar graph on the upper right side of the page. Write down the percentages for each group. On March 22, students will have the opportunity to complete a job shadow. The permission slip is due on March 13.
