So far I think the graveyard book is different. I’ve never read anything like it. But I like how the author made it so the ghost talk old fashioned because they are old!

I am about half way done with the graveyard book! I think I would be very weird to have Bod’s life. He also goes through some very sad things…I wonder if he will live in thE graveyard forever?

I like the book so far, but I still think that it is a strange book. Because at the beginning of the novel, a random guy is trying to kill this family and the baby. Plus the kid that was the baby is raised by ghosts and isn’t let out of the graveyard.

i think that this book is good so far. i think it is kind of weird though, because at the beginning of the book that guy was trying to kill his family. that would be weird to live in the graveyard like bod does.

Allie Bunn posted two comments to my blog, so I’m posting them here so you can all read what she has to say:

The graveyard book. I’m so confused on the point of the book. Like it’s good in all but I’m just confused. Haha

Oh I thought we had to like say what we thought. Haha but okay. Uhm in the part that Im reading bod and his friends In the graveyard just had danced the macabray. I think that his godfather has a thing for the girl that bod danced with. The girl on the horse.

I think this book is strange because Bod lives in a graveyard with ghosts. I like this book even if I am confused most of the time. This is still a pretty good book so far.

This book is one of the most exciting books I have ever read. Still it would suck to be living in a graveyard and have a guy try to kill you.

i dont like this book so far because it was really scary to me at the beginning espeacially when it was talking about the killer trying to find the baby and instead of stabbing the baby in the crib it stabbed the teddy bear instead :(

I just barely finished the book. I think it got sooo much better in the very end. At the first of the book I was thinking that it wasn’t very good but to have the end make sense, it had to have a not so good start to it!

  15. Jasen Hancock — December 21, 2011 @ 10:23 pm

I like this book because it shows all the strange things that happen in it. Its just kinda out of the ordinary. Stuff that just does not happen everyday.

  17. Andrew — December 27, 2011 @ 1:01 pm

I like it! I want to finish it to see if he finally sees the killer.

  18. Andrew — December 27, 2011 @ 1:02 pm

This book made me appreciate being normal and not having to live in a graveyard so I know how I am and stuff. Because it would suck living there and not being able to leave the graveyard.

  19. Andrew — December 27, 2011 @ 1:04 pm

I like when the ghouls come because they seem cool even though there bad. I think its funny how one of them was President of The United States. And Emporer of China. The ghouls seemed cool but I wouldn’t wanna be one.

  20. Andrew — December 27, 2011 @ 1:07 pm

I wonder why he doesn’t seee the Owens very often? Aren’t they his parents? Or ghost parents. How could a ghost hold a baby?

  21. carolyn — January 3, 2012 @ 8:30 am

this is a really good book! i thougth it was super amazing how a baby could escape from a murderer! i thought it was super scary to! i mean he almost killed a little baby:( that makesme super sad:(

  22. carolyn — January 3, 2012 @ 8:32 am

i really love this book(: i thought it was cool how the baby got to the graveyard all by him self! he must of been really lucky that the goast found him and chose to take care of him

  23. carolyn — January 3, 2012 @ 8:33 am

i thought it was good that bod had made a new lady friend i mea i think he needs someone to talk to besides a bunch of goasts. everyone needs a good friend(:

  24. carolyn — January 3, 2012 @ 8:34 am

i thought it was cool how bod went to school(: i hope he stayes in and gets a good education(: im almost done with the book i just cant put it down(:

  25. kalysta — January 9, 2012 @ 6:45 pm

i wondered how the baby made it out. its great that he went into the graveyard.because he would probably have died.thats sad that his family was killed though.):

  26. kalysta — January 9, 2012 @ 6:48 pm

its good that he is safe in the graveyard but how does the ghost parents hold him? its cool how the ghosts still teach him but then again they are so old how does the teaching count up to what age it was then.

  27. kalysta — January 9, 2012 @ 6:50 pm

its super awesome how bod meets a girl to be his friend to have another living breathing person to talk to. they have so many adventures.its sad how she has to leave now though.

  28. kalysta — January 9, 2012 @ 6:52 pm

its way scary when bod goes down with the ghouls that wolf is awesome to save bod and wierd that it turns out to be mrs lupesco he is super lucky that bod didnt turn into those hideous creatures i almost barfed when they were describing what the ghould looked like and do. bleh!
