I wonder if Edgar Allen Poe really did turn edmund’s story into a book, if he did it would be really interesting to read. I also want to read the Golden Bug story to see if there really is a code, it would be fun to use it one day.

I really don’t like Mr. Dupin/Poe he just seems like a jerk to Edmund edmund just wants his help to find his family. I think it is really interesting that Edgar Allen Poe’s story is so close to Edmund’s it will be interesting to find out if ‘Sis’ dies in Edmunds.

I wonder why Mr. Dupin/Poe has so many fake names it make me wonder if Edgar Allen Poe is his real name or if that like grey and dupin is fake. I sure hope that he and Mrs. Whitmen get married they seem like they really like each other.

Mr. Dupin is actually a fictional character in the gold bug and the code is real, this book is could be real it would be really cool if this did happen in real life

This book is soo good! I just can’t put it down. I wonder how Poe was so clever to find out all of the things that happened. I think it would be really to cool to be as clever as he is.

The only reason Poe is such a jerk to Edmund is because of his drinking problem. It also might be because he is under so much pressure about marrying Mrs. Whitman and earning money. If none of that happened I think that Poe would be happy to help him. Anyways this book is really good.

My least favorite was when close to the beginning when edmund was all alone! I made me think how scared and worried he was! That is the worst feeling ever!
