FAFSA
Colleges STRONGLY encourage all students to complete the FAFSA form. This is the federal form which determines qualification for federal financial aid. Federal financial aid includes WORK STUDY, STUDENT LOANS, AND GRANTS. However, even if you don’t qualify for federal aid, colleges have scholarships that you may qualify for but may also require financial need. To determine your financial need for those scholarships, they need the FAFSA application. You cannot fill out the FAFSA until January, and it is best to complete it by February to ensure that you meet the financial aid deadlines. It is also recommended (but not required) to complete your family’s taxes PRIOR to completing the deadline. Click on the link above for information and to complete the FAFSA
