The Real All Americans by Sally Jenkins

Football, Jim Thorpe, Pop Warner, and Dwight D. Eisenhower! What more can I say?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

Book Jacket

I really enjoyed this book; it had mystery, danger and romance. JK Rowling has done a really great job concluding the Harry Potter series in this book 7. The writing is really creative, but sometimes she uses some big words that I don’t really understand, but I’m not such a great reader, so don’t let that deter you from reading this book.  Just read the first 6 or you won’t understand a thing! But over all a resounding 2 thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!

Guns, Germs and Steel by Jared Diamond

This is a book explaining why different civilizations flurished and others died out, and basically why the world is the way it is. This is a great book to read if you love learning about history. The book covers 13,000 years of history in only 500 pages. Jared Dimond wrote the book so well that it won the pulitzer prize and became a national best seller.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

Book Jacket

This is a new style wrting that I quite enjoyed. Our unlikely hero in this story has haunted mankind’s history for centuries.   A vampire. The main chatacter Bella Swan tries to see into this unknown world.  To understand it she must befriend the beautiful but deadly hero Edward who is living but not living.  Love or death? The true question that decides the fate of us all. This book is wonderful and will capture your imagination. I highly advise both men and women to read Twilight.
