Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

In this beautiful piece of literature, Charlotte Bronte explores the themes of death, love and integrity. Jane Eyre is truly a victorian era cinderella story that has been loved by many for decades. It is the story of a woman who marches through the worst of times, holds true to her standards and becomes a genuine heroine to be admired.
The novel begins during Jane’s childhood and follows her throughout her life. The reader follows her as she finishes school, falls in love and conquers heartache. It is filled with inspiring words of strength and testimony. It is sure to leave any reader uplifted; I personally love this novel and would recommend it to any reader wanting to read something worth while.

It is a remarkable retelling of a classic story that is sure to be loved by many readers.

Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card

Book Jacket
Ender’s Shadow is a partner novel to Ender’s Game which is also written by Orson Scott Card. It tells the story of Bean, a very young boy who is extremely intelligent and gifted. He is recruited into Battle School where the most intelligent children are sent and trained to fight in the war against the Buggers, an alien species that wishes to take over the Earth.
Bean is simply an incredible character who rises from the most desperate situation of living on the streets at a year old to saving the planet while still in his early childhood. Ender’s Game which tells the story of Ender WIggin, the bright hope of Earth did not do him justice.
I do not usually enjoy the sci-fi genre and I didn’t think Ender’s Game was anything special, but I could not put Ender’s Shadow down. It is a fascinating tale that keeps you turning pages and wanting more. It has become a favorite that I believe many individuals will enjoy immensely.

Uglies by Scott Westerfield

Book Jacket

This book is, to me, extremely good.
Characters are likeable
Storys have their own little twists and turns
And the author has done a great job with words.

Uglies are the first book of the trilogy, and i think it’s the best of the 3.
