The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas

Dantes is wrongfully imprisoned. He escapes and the book is about his revenge on those who accused and sent him to prison. It is a great adventure book, and you are on Dantes’s side the whole time.

Trickster’s Choice by Tamora Pierce

Alianne, daughter of Alanna (Lioness Quartet), sets out to prove to herself and her parents that she can be just as good as them. She ends up in the Copper Isles trying to stay alive as a slave, while also saving many other lives. This book is just as good as Pierce’s other books and it is fun to read about the daughter of a character in another book.

Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare, adapted by Richard Appignanesi

A graphic novel verson of the Shakespeare play. It has the same language style but great illustrations to go along with a great story. It’s about all the tricks, problems, and fun of falling in love.

Book Crush by Nancy Pearl

This book is cool because it is just lists of recommended reading. It’s divided by age and genre, so you can find books that are just what you want. It’s for teens and kids, and there is another book that is for adults.
