The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows

Book Jacket
This is a sweet book written in letter format about a woman who finds herself with a group of new friends on a distant island. She becomes important to all of them, as they become to her, and she finally decides to pay them a visit. There’s a little romance and a little fun. I would recommend this book for anyone (probably girls) who want a cute book that makes you feel happy when you’re done reading.

Shadow Song by Dorothy Keddington

Shadow Song

Megan, a journalist, gets a vacation like assignment which turns even better when she finally meets the man she is to interview. Cole is a popular singer and Megan starts to fall for him as soon as she hears his music. But of course, the path of love never runs smoothly. One of the recording bands is into some bad ritualistic ceremonies, which could spell disaster for Megan and Cole. This book is a great, clean romance, with some darker undertones that will keep it interesting. Dorothy Keddington always writes a good romance.
