This book is cool because it is just lists of recommended reading. It’s divided by age and genre, so you can find books that are just what you want. It’s for teens and kids, and there is another book that is for adults.

Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach

This book talks about the history of human cadavers and how they are used in science today. If you get grossed out easily, don’t read this. It’s very cool though!

Lincoln: A Photobiography by Russell Freedman

This is a quick biography of Abraham Lincoln starting from his childhood and carrying through to his assassination. The author talks of his personality, family and political career in an easy-to-read way. The book was informative and interesting.

Undaunted Courage by Stephen E Ambrose

If you are adventurous and like history the book “Undaunted Courage” fills the bill.  It is a story of the Lewis and Clark expedition from St. Louis Missouri to the Pacific Ocean and the area of Astoria, Oregon, all uncharted territory.  Thomas Jefferson wanted to chart the territory and chose Meriwether Lewis to be the leader.  He chose William Clark to be second in command.  This book vividly takes you on rivers, plains and into Indian country.  An Indian woman by the name of Sacajawea volunteered to travel with the party.  They had to cross many mountain ranges, including the high Rocky Mountains.  They successfully finished the trip.  I am sure that you would like it.
