The Weber County Sheriff’s office, under the direction of Undersheriff Kevin McLeod and the watchful eye of Lisa Panter, have given several of our Law Enforcement students an incredible opportunity this past semester.  Sheriff McLeod has spearheaded Internships for 4 of our high school seniors…one from each high school:  Kyle Watkins (Bonneville), Mandy Dickerson (Roy), Kody Haycock (Fremont) and Joseph Richards (Weber) have all been exposed to several different entities that make up the profession of Law Enforcement.  They have seen bookings, jail intake, arrests, court proceedings, ride alongs and much, much more….one girl noted that she had even seen a dead body (really!).  What an awesome tribute to the whole organization at The Weber County Sheriiff’s Office, from the top down.   The willingness of each involved is really just another indicator of the Service these people provide the citizens of our community as they daily put their lives on the line on our behalf.  Thank you Weber County Sheriff’s Office!!
