Good Morning.

The links below will show our schedules for 2 of our upcoming events — Bridgerland Band Invitational in Logan and Mt. Timpanogos at Pleasant Grove HS

If you have any questions, please let me know.   We are looking for someone to haul our equipment trailer to the events – if you can help here, please let me know as well.    If you would like to send snacks, bottled water, etc. to the competitions for the band – we always welcome the assistance.

Homecoming Week Activities

TUESDAY: After School rehearsal (3:30 – 5:30 pm). Meet in band room. Bring your water. Focus for day is music/visuals.
THURSDAY: Homecoming Parade: Meet at LDS Church by North Ogden JH @ 6 pm. Parade Starts at 6:30 pm. Parade ends at Weber HS. UNIFORM FOR PARADE: Show shirt, Band Hat, jeans and athletic shoes (you can wear marching shoes)
FRIDAY: Homecoming Football Game: We will be marching at the half. Those who missed uniform fitting – please contact Mr. Windsor to set up a time to get your uniform fitted – we will be in full uniform for this game. Feel free to invite former WHS Band members to participate with the Pep Band for this game. They will need to contact Mr. Windsor via email for details.

Band Camp 13-17 August!!!

Band camp starts MONDAY, August 13th @ 7 am.    Camp will run through FRIDAY, 17 August.   Camp runs each day 7 am – 2 pm.   Lunch is at 11:30 am — You are on your own for lunch each day — please bring a lunch or make arrangements to go home, etc.   The band will furnish lunch on FRIDAY, 17 August.

Items to bring each day:  Please remember – dress for the weather — be prepared for the weather
Coordinate Sheets – these will be handed out first day of camp
Water containers — make sure you have a LARGE container for water.   It gets warm on the field.    If you have a camelback – please use that.   Frequent breaks will be given = please drink on these breaks.
Sunscreen – stay protected from the sun.
Good, supportive shoes to march in.  Athletic shoes are recommended – shoes must tie.
Positive Attitude!!   We will working each day to learn the moves for the entire show.    Come prepared to learn a lot and to be a positive influence on the band.

MB Music Camp Itinerary

Here is the schedule for Music Camp.   Please note that we will be holding auditions for solos on AUGUST 8th.    A primary and alternate will be selected.    Details will be covered August 1st.     Please invite all you know to come join us!!    We have a couple of spots available for those interested – No Experience is needed!!  We will teach all you need to know.

WHS Fall/Summer Drumline Audition Info

The links will take you to the information needed for auditions for the 2018 WHS Fall/Summer Drumline.     Please note that you are to come prepared on May 2nd ready to play the exercises in the packet.   There will be no clinics prior.   If you have questions, please contact Mr. Windsor at    jwindsor@wsd.net

Auditions will begin at 4 pm and run until we finish, first come, first served.   We are looking forward to seeing and working with each of you!!  Please read through ALL attachments and print the exercises.
