Marching Band Competition Itineraries

Below you will find the links to the Competition Itineraries for ALL of the competitions for this season.     These will be emailed home as well.   We are looking for trailer haulers for each of these events.  If you can help, please email Mr. Windsor at — jwindsor@wsd.net

For the Wasatch Front Invitational we are asking students to either bring money to eat or to bring their lunch.   With all of the outside activities that day, we are leaving right after our performance to facilitate those who have those conflicts.

For the Bridgerland Band Invitational, we are looking for assistance in providing a lunch for the band.   If you can help, please contact Mr. Windsor.   We are looking at serving sub sandwiches (already ordered), chips, cookies and drinks.  We will also need paper plates and napkins.

For the Davis Cup Competition, we will be ordering sack lunches from the WHS Cafeteria.   This lunch also comes with a drink but we could use 1 – 2 cases of water for this competition as well.

For the Mt. Timpanogos Competition, we are looking for help to provide a hot lunch of sloppy joes, chips and water.   Please let us know if you can help here.

Weber District Friends and Family Event.  This is the only event that has NO COST.   We are asking that the parents bring their students to this event.   We will be honoring our senior’s for their support of the band program.

ITINERARIES — Students, please make sure that you have scheduled these dates off.   Also, remember we also perform at the Orion JH Concert in October.   I will post and announce dates at our next class period.

2017 WHS Wind Ensemble Announced

Please check the Concert Band page for a link to the 2017 Wind Ensemble.   Selection was based on the chair placement test given earlier this quarter.    For those selected – congratulations!!    For those wishing to be a part of the Wind Ensemble, see Mr. Windsor – you can challenge for a spot!!
