Warm-ups: What careers could you do that would benefit from you learning animals systems?

Today we did a lab on animal systems.  There were stations with different parts of a cow that students needed to try and identify, and what system that organ belonged to.

We saw eyeballs, livers, esophagus, hearts, and lungs.  What system do they belong to?

2nd  Get the crossword puzzle from the sub,  Do the crossword and then have the sub put them back on my desk.

3rd Do the two latest assignments on iLit if you have time.

Yesterday we took a pre-test on waves and a quiz on energy transfer.  If you did not take them please talk to me tomorrow.

So today we are starting a new unit on synthetic vs. natural.

Read the following article then answer the questions.

  13. How are natural and synthetic alike?
  14. So what is synthetic material made out of?
  15. List 5 items made from natural materials or resources.
  16. List 5 items made from synthetic or man made materials or resources.

Tomorrow is midterm!  Make sure you have given my any late work!  Put work on the basket on my desk.

Warm-up: What class did you register for yesterday that you are excited to take?

So today you will be working with a partner.  If you want to work in a group of 3 that is OK.  Look at the PowerPoint on the second paragraph of the creed.   When you are ready, pass off the paragraph to your partner  by filling in the words to the last slide.  When you have passed off paragraph 2 then move on to the next paragraph PowerPoint and then pass it off.  Do all of them if you can.  I will ask you tomorrow what paragraphs you passed off and put it your grade.
