1/4 Vocabulary warm-up (@home tutor program), practice telling “how often” you like to do things (part of the unit 4 vocabulary), do oral activity
1/5 Practice the “with whom” section of unit 4 vocabulary (including “when” and “why”), do oral activity
1/6 Practice “saying what you like” section (both columns) of unit 4 vocabulary,
do worksheet
1/7-8 Study & practice the questions for the final exam
(questions are posted on this blog: Señor Powell’s blog – Second Term Oral Final Exam)

1/11 – 1/12 (and 1/13 if not finished) Oral Final Exam
1/13 Students who were absent make up Oral final exam
Retesting for oral final exam is Wednesday 1/13 at 2:35 p.m. or Thursday 1/14 at 7:15 a.m.
1/14 Auction for prizes – bring your pesos!
(Also, makeup for oral final exam if you were gone M, T and W)
1/15 No school!!!

1/18 No school!!!
1/19 Discuss third term projects and begin working on them.
1/20 Learn the definite and indefinite articles. (See unit 4 handout)
1/21 Worksheet – definite and indefinite articles. Then study for quiz tomorrow
or work on term projects.
1/22 Quiz – definite and indefinite articles. Then work on term projects.

1/25 Begin learning family vocabulary words. (flash cards & vocabulary bingo)
1/26 Practice family vocabulary words (video), then begin working on “family tree” assignment.
1/27 Finish “family tree” assignment.
1/28 Oral presentation of “family tree” assignment.
1/29 Finish oral presentation of “Family Tree” project, then learn more Unit 5 vocabulary:
the possessive adjectives and basic words for people and pets.

of regular -ar verbs, do ex. 5-6 on p. 66
1/5 Learn the Preterite tense of regular -er and -ir verbs
1/6 Learn the Preterite tense of ir, ser, hacer, ver, and dar,
do ex. 15 on p. 72   (Work in groups, but everyone write the sentences to turn in).
