About Me

Here are some things you may want to know about Mrs. B…..

I love teaching students and I love the students at T.H. Bell.  I am willing to do everything in my power to help my students learn, progress, become responsible students and find a love for reading.

One of my most favorite things, EVER, is the musical Wicked.  If you haven’t seen it you need to, if you have seen it let’s talk about it!

I enjoy traveling, no specific destination.  I just love to travel, see new things, learn about different cultures from the one I live in and I enjoy trying new foods in the places I travel.  The country I visited which I enjoyed the most was China.  Southern China is beautiful and I plan to visit China again in the upcoming summer.  The states I have visited that I have enjoyed the most are New York and Boston.  One of the cities I love is Chicago.  If I have a four day weekend I would choose to go to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Yellowstone or Jackson Hole.  Last summer I was able to visit Europe.  I spent time in many of the locations we will read about durning 3rd and 4th quarters when we are reading the Diary of Anne Frank.  I am excited to share my experiences with all of my students.

Family time is a big deal in my home.  I have 5 children, all of them are very active.  From about 3-9, Monday through Friday, I am driving kids around, watching kids participate in activities, making dinner and doing “Mom” stuff.  I have a set of twins who are in 8th grade (a different school) so I know what kids your age are going through!

The last thing I want you to know about me is that I LOVE TO READ!  My three most favorite books are; The Book Thief, Snowflower and the Secret Fan and A Thousand Splendid Suns.  I have all of these books on my shelf available for checkout.

I hope this has helped you get to know me!  Please post your name and 5 interesting things you would like me, and anyone who looks at this blog, to know about you!  Who knows, you may receive a treat for your post (I love treats).
