6TH GRADE SUPPLIES — IF YOU WANT TO!

We sent out a 6th grade supply list at the end of last year, so that you would know ahead of time what are those items that would be most helpful for your 6th Graders to have to start school with.  Here is the list:  A box of colored pencils (8-12 is enough);  2 boxes of Kleenex tissues;  1 box of quart size Ziplocks;  4 glue sticks;  2 rolls of paper towels;  adult size scissors (very important!);  a very basic CALCULATOR (VERY IMPORTANT!  Does not need to be a Junior/High school variety);  $5.00 for a Time for Kids Mag subscription;  1 accordion file folder;  a Bic 4 colors in one click pen–red, black, green, blue (VERY IMPORTANT!)  These are items we use or need all year long, so if you can help, that would be great!

ORDERING From the Scholastic Book Clubs

If you want to order from Scholastic Book Clubs online, you will need to use my class code.  This is to insure that your order comes to me.  When you go online, and it asks you for your teacher’s code, put in L637N.  This attaches your order to my class order.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call me on my cell phone!  801-389-0060

STARTING SCHOOL! BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT – FRIDAY, AUGUST 18 – 4:00-6:00 P.M.

Welcome!  Welcome!  It will be so good to see all your beautiful, smiling faces.  We have a wonderful class this year, and that just means we can have more fun doing things that only wonderful students can do!  Thank you all for remembering to bring in supplies, asking questions, and getting settled.  It shows me that you care and are a very responsible student.  It is good to be back in the saddle, as the cowboys say, and hope that you are excited to start your last year in Elementary school.  You are the top of the heap this year, and we do lots of fun things in 6th Grade along with a lot of hard work.  We hope that this will be the year that gets you ready for 7th grade, and you will leave with a lot of good memories!
