Admissions Index

Colleges and universities use an admissions index to determine admission and scholarships. The admission index is a score based on a student’s cumulative GPA and ACT or SAT score. Each college determines their own score and any other criteria for admission and scholarships.

 

Most colleges post an index chart on their website. By visiting the website of your college of choice and searching for “index chart” you can usually find your score. BYU and University of Utah do not publish index charts because they consider other criteria when reviewing applications.
